Copy of my doctoral certificate

Please note that this certificate is for the degree of "Doctor of Philosophy", which the University abbreviates, quite logically, to "DPhil". Practically all other universites in the world abbreviate their equivalent degree to "PhD". So I do have a PhD, its just that it is called a "DPhil". This certificate does not say that the degree is in physics, but my thesis title refers to "sigma hyperons" which are a type of elementary particle. So this is my doctorate in elementary particle physics, which is also called "high energy physics" because of the huge atom smashers which are used (as microscopes) to probe into the finer types of sub-nuclear matter, such as quarks. It is curious that most of my colleagues do not realise (yet) that they are studying the principles of life.
